Local guiding course of Nature Friends Club in Zabol

Nature Friends Club of Iran has held educational courses for local residents of Zabol County, Sistan & Baluchestan province called "Local guiding courses". The Local guiding courses of Nature Friends Club were held on 25-30 March of 2021 with the cooperation of DPL and Mountaineering and Sport climbing Federation of Iran (MSFI) hosted by the Sistan & Baluchestan Mountaineering and climbing board in Zabol county.

The participants were trainees from Zahedan, Zabol, Saravan, affiliated villages in the historical border city of Zabol, and the mountainous region of Kuh-e Khajeh. The courses were held in full compliance with health protocols.

International Nature-Friends Club with 40 countries as its members and 125 years of experience is one of the greatest sports and cultural clubs in the world and Iran has joined this club since 2017.

This club has started its activities as the Iran Nature Friends club and is continuing its activities in the fields of developing sustainable tourism, standardization, and inclusive educational programs related to eco-tourism and mountaineering.

Living the nature, creating active and positive recreations among societies, and reducing the gap between people and nature are the most important goals of the Iran Nature Friends club.

General informing about the destructive effects of urban life, filling the gap between people and nature by education, and general informing based on regional ecosystems, are the most important philosophy of this club. A hard strive to take to start inviting people to enjoy and protect nature.

The missions of this club, which tries to achieve its goals in the most favorable way, are inclusive information and education besides living the nature in the approaches of maintaining natural and cultural heritage in societies for all humans and sustainable tourism.

The purposes of the courses:

Making participants familiar with natural attractions of their county

Training participants for local guiding

Shortening the gap between people and the natural environment

Informing participants about the importance of maintaining and preserving the natural and cultural heritage

Taking steps in order to achieve sustainable tourism development goals

The educated topics in this course were Natural environment preservation, Nutrition in nature, General mountaineering, Introduction to climbing equipment, Montology of Iran mountains, Meteorology, Geomorphology of mountains, Leadership and tour management, Climbing techniques in Snow and Rock, Mountain hazards, Trekking at night, Navigation in nature, Navigation at night, and Camping.
